German A1 Course

German Level A1: Beginner German (CEFR Standard)

The German A1 Course at Punjab Language Training Center (PLTC) is designed for absolute beginners who need a structured foundation in spoken and written German.

"A1 certification is the mandatory language requirement set by the German Embassy in Pakistan for spouse and family reunion visas, as well as the initial foundation for German university admissions."

This 1.5-month program covers the official Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) guidelines, preparing you directly for the Goethe-Zertifikat A1: Start Deutsch 1 and ÖSD A1 exams.

Here is what this level focuses on:

  1. Pronunciation and Phonetics: Learning standard German pronunciation, the alphabet, umlauts (ä, ö, ü), and letter combinations like ei, ie, and ch.
  2. Everyday Vocabulary: Introducing yourself, ordering in restaurants, shopping, asking for directions, reading train timetables, and telling time.
  3. Core Sentence Grammar: Verb conjugations in the present tense, definite and indefinite articles (der, die, das), modal verbs, and the accusative case.

Classes are available physically at our campus in Lahore and live online across Pakistan.
